This means that a portion of all Rebound EQ sales throughout July, August and September will be donated to support the efforts of Farms for City Kids.
About Farms for City Kids
Farms For City Kids, a non profit organization in Reading, Vermont that provides an outdoor classroom for urban youth. This program combines classroom study with firsthand farming experience on a 1,000 acre farm called Spring Brook Farm that supports 100 registered Jersey cows, 42 milking cows that produce over 600,000 pounds of milk each year. The farm has horses, sheep, goats, chickens, roosters, pigs, and turkeys.
The farm sells hay, sweet corn, chickens and turkeys seasonally, as well as a full vegetable garden including peas, corn, tomatoes, pumpkins and potatoes. A small orchard plus a greenhouse and raspberry and blueberry bushes keep the kids quite busy. In addition to this the farm has it own honey bee hives, which help pollinate as well as produce honey. And typical to being a Vermont farm, Spring Brook has over 3,500 sugar maple taps on trees, so that kids can learn how to harvest and boil down delicious maple syrup.
The educational programs at Farms for City Kids are free and includes a weeklong residential experience. The typical ages are from 8-12.

07/03/12 - It has just been announced that Biostar team rider, Will Coleman, and Twizzle (owned by Jim Wildasin) have been named to the 2012 US Olympic team for Three Day Eventing!
They will be joined by Tiana Coudray and Ringwood Magister, Phillip Dutton Eventing and Mystery Whisper, Boyd Martin and Otis Barbotiere and Karen O'Connor and Mr. Medicott.
Here's a statement made by Will today on his Facebook page:
I am honored and privileged to have been named alongside this great group of horses and riders to the 2012 Olympic Eventing Team. While my excitement at this remarkable opportunity is at an all-time high, I am equally saddened for those that remain as alternates, many of whom are good friends and all of whom are wonderful horse people and riders. One could easily make a case for each and every one of them.
With that in mind, I still see this whole process as a journey that is far from complete. Selection is but another step forward, but it is in no way an end goal. I want to bring the absolute best out of my horse and myself in three weeks time, and I will commit to a process that will hopefully do just that. All thanks goes to Jim Wildasin, my owner and friend. Same to my family and parents, who couldn't be more supportive. Equal praise to my groom Sara McKenna, girlfriend Jess Frankfurt, vet Kev Keane, farrier Alan Berardo, and all my other owners, supporters, friends, and sponsors, without whom none of this would be possible. We all share in this together, and I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. And, to Twizzel, give me three more weeks of your wonderful character, and let's leave it all in the ring and galloping lanes of Greenwich Park.

06/13/2012 - Team Biostar rider, Will Coleman, announces his Olympic news:
Twizzel and I have been named to the USEF Eventing Short List for the 2012 Olympic Games. It has been a long adventure for us - and this is the culmination of years of hard work and preparation.
We had a great spring, culminating in a fifth place effort at the 2012 Rolex Kentucky CCI4* and then we competed in a combined test at the Bromont CIC - contesting only the dressage and show jumping. Those performances gave the USEF selectors the confidence to name us to the Short List of 11 horse and rider combinations. The shortlisted combinations will fly to England on June 18th to prepare for the Mandatory Outing at the Barbury Castle International Horse Trials (June 27 - July 1). The final team will be named following that competition.
This opportunity truly wouldn't be possible without the support of Jim Wildasin and all of my owners, staff, sponsors, friends and family. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout the years. Getting on the Short List is a significant step in my end goal of the Olympics. I am excited and honored to have been given this golden opportunity. We hope to make you all proud over the next two months.
Sincerely Yours,
Will
Please join Biostar in congratulating Will and be sure to keep up with him and Twizzel on their Facebook Page.
